After Flagler Palm Coast’s 4-0 loss to Bartram Trail in a District 1-7A boys soccer quarterfinal on Jan. 28, FPC coach Troy Stone thanked the visitors for coming.
The Bears, seeded fourth in the district, were supposed to host the game, but Bartram Trail’s girls team was also hosting that night, so the boys traveled to fifth-seeded FPC.

Flagler Palm Coast freshman Jack Moberly may have many more days in his high school soccer career like the one on Jan. 19.
But this one was special, not just for Moberly, but for the Bulldogs' 11 seniors who got to celebrate a victory on senior night in their final home game at FPC.

Na'Riya Perry was down to her last chance to achieve a two-year-old goal, and she wasn't going to let it slip away.
Perry scored a game-high 13 points as the Matanzas girls basketball team made history on Jan. 14, defeating cross-town rival Flagler Palm Coast for the first time, 39-35, at the Bulldogs' gym.

The Seabreeze Sandcrabs girls soccer team kicked off the Five Star Conference tournament against the Pine Ridge Panthers Jan. 8 at a relatively slow pace but walked away with a 7-1 win.
Seabreeze followed that win with a 4-0 victory over Flagler Palm Coast -- their second win over the Bulldogs this season -- on Jan.

Flagler Palm Coast boys basketball coach Derrick Williams said he realized early in the fourth quarter that the Bulldogs’ annual crosstown-rivalry game with Matanzas would come down to the final shot.
And he had no doubt who was going to shoot it for his team.
